Melissa Kapfer (Mrs. Stanley/Head of Publicity): Melissa has previously been seen in Variations on a Theme and as Fan in A Christmas Carol. She would like to thank Justin Loh- “why do we fall? …to get back up.” She would also like to thank her mom, dad, all her fans, her watch, and a million lions. Melissa will be attending Virginia Commonwealth University in the fall for premed. Class of 2016
Aris Stovall (Miss Preen): Aris has previously performed in the rap ensemble in Jack and Jill and the Beanstalk. She would like to thank God for giving her the talent of acting and her parents for all their support. She would also like to thank Mr. Monk and Mrs. K for believing in her and convincing her to audition for the show. Class of 2018 Josh Hatfield (Richard Stanley/Props): Josh has previously performed as President Roosevelt in Annie and Bad Bart in Happily Forever After. He would like to thank his friends and family for support and Colton for his dankery. Josh will be joining the Air Force to be an aircraft mechanic. Class of 2016 Sarah Kratt (June Stanley): Sarah has previously performed as Gert in Lost in Yonkers. She would like to thank her sisters for being goofs, her mom for being motherly, her dad for his constant supply of breakfast foods, and her friends for being friendly. And also Jackson. Sarah will. Class of 2016 Steven Schwarz (John/Props): Steven has previously been seen as Drake the Butler in Annie and Sarah McLachlan in Little Red and the Power Mutants. He would like to thank his loving mother and father, his siblings, and Taylor Swift for giving the world her musical talents. Class of 2017 Hannah Harmison (Sarah): Hannah has previously performed in Variations on a Theme and Little Red and the Power Mutants as Trixie. She would like to thank her mom for always being supportive and loving and generally being the best mom in the world. She would like to thank her dad for helping her solve her problems, even when she didn’t ask for help. Special thanks to Jackson Trahan for being her best friend. Hannah will be attending George Mason University in the fall, majoring in film and video studies. She hopes to get a job with that somehow. Class of 2016 Jackson Trahan (Mr. Stanley): Jackson has previously performed as Grandma in Little Red and the Power Mutants. He would like to thank his parents for supporting him through high school and to all his friends in and out of the drama department for putting up with his antics. Jackson will be attending the University of Mary Washington in the fall for computer science and hopefully use it to get into game design. Class of 2016 Maggie Shircliff (Maggie Cutler): Maggie has previously performed as Reema Hajaziln in An Undisclosed Location and Duffy in Annie. She would like to thank Mr. Monk and Mrs. K for all they have done for her the past four years and her family for being amazing and supportive. She loves you all. She would also like to thank Grace for all of her terrible puns that make her seem funny… just kidding, thanks for always making her laugh. Special thanks to Hannah B for joining in on her rants and supporting her and everyone in this amazing department. She is so thankful to have gotten the chance to know and act with all of you. Maggie will be attending American University in the fall to study sociology. Class of 2016 Hannah Bridenbaugh (Dr. Bradley): Hannah has previously performed as the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol. She would like to thank Mr. Monk for choosing such a fun show, Maggie Shircliff for being a constant inspiration of beauty and feminism, and Jack David, who she doesn’t talk to enough but is generally super awesome and talented. Hannah will be attending the University of Mary Washington in the fall, majoring in historic preservation. Class of 2016
Adam Lekang (Sheridan Whiteside): Adam has previously been seen as Eddie from Lost in Yonkers and Picasso in Picasso at the Lapin Agile. He would like to thank his parents, Ben Solo, and Steven and Olivia. Class of 2017 Sydney Kendrick (Harriet Stanley): Sydney has previously performed as Grace in Annie and Lou the UPS Woman in Little Red and the Power Mutants. She would like to thank her parents for their support, her friends Adriana, Izzy, and Shannon for always making her laugh, and Charles for keeping her sane with bad puns and a contagious smile. Class of 2017 Evan Belsky (Bert Jefferson): Evan has previously been seen as Billone in An Undisclosed Location and squirrel #2 in Rocky Run’s production of Willy Wonka. He would like to thank his family and friends for always supporting him in his endeavors. He would also like to thank Mr. Monk and Mrs. K for being great teachers and directors. Class of 2017
Maria Benincasa (Professor Metz): Maria has previously performed as Shannon the Giant in Jack and Jill and the Beanstalk and Cinderella in Happily Forever After. She would like to thank her friends, family, and her cat Gibbs for believing in her and supporting her. Class of 2018 Caroline Barnes (Lorraine Sheldon): Caroline has previously performed in Variations on a Theme and Happily Forever After as Goldilocks. She would like to thank everyone who has supported her through the years. Special thanks to her family and her dog. Class of 2017 Jason Hadley (Sandy): Jason has previously performed as Jay in Lost in Yonkers and Mark Davenport in Rocky Run’s The Election. He would like to thank his parents and the Game for supporting and inspiring him to do his best. Time flies like an arrow fruit flies like a banana. Class of 2017 Michael Rosegrant (Beverly Carlton/Head of Set Dressing/Publicity Designs): Michael has previously been seen as Arty in Lost in Yonkers and was the understudy for Dylan in Arena Stage’s production of Akeelah and the Bee. Jalen Thurman (Banjo): Jalen is making his acting debut! He would like to thank God and his family and friends for always being there when he needs them most. Jalen will be attending Virginia Commonwealth University in the fall. Class of 2016 |
